I am a Hero

A Locksmith is a hero every working day.  It starts out with a simple call from a distressed client. "I am locked out can you help me", is the most common request during the call. Immidiately the locksmith personell takes the info, and gets to work on getting a locksmith out to you.  Every locksmith in the NYC area must be licensed at the least. So the locksmith arrives at the client's location, oh boy the excitement that is displayed, sometimes you cant help but go tontanutanut like superman. Its a great feeling to see how valueable you are.  As a valued client which everyone is treated like most locksmiths are very professional and curtious.
I have been a locksmith since 2004, and its been a great pleasure dealing with clients in the New York city area. I have serviced clients in Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, and even Staten Island on a remote occasion.  Queens is where most of my jobs are located, so needless to say I Know Queens like the back of my hands.  I have rescued clients in Elmhurst, Flushing, Whitestone, Jackson Heights, Corona, College Point, Rego Park, Woodhaven, Bayside, Jamaica, Springfield Gardens, Saint Albans, Cambria Heights and many others.  I have worked for all major locksmiths in Queens. I started out with Champion locksmith, then I contracted with Jstein Locksmith, Armor locksmith, Freedom locksmith, Around the Clock locksmith and Admiral Lock and Key.  Currently I still contract with many of those locksmiths but in addition I also administer Abbaslocksmith.com and Buddyslocksmith.com through these I do most of my best hero jobs. I go beyond my job to provide a well informed and well supplied locksmith experiance for my clients. Available 24 hours a day 7 days a week, I cover all emergencies for my collegue locksmiths in the Queens area.

Emergency Lockout Queens

So what is wrong with your lock? You come home tired and stressed out, you take your key out of your pocket, purse, or key chain hook; you put your key into your bottom lock on your apartment door expecting to turn your key and go in, but instead the key turns but the lock does not seem to want to open. So I hate to be the one to tell you, but my dears you have yourself a collapsed mortise lock.  See 90% of apartments in NYC have what is called a mortise lock as the bottom lock.  So this lock is in the shape of an old VHS video tape (if you are old enough to remember) and if you remember that video tape would have all the film held inside with two plates, its exactly the same concept, except the mortise lock has all the metal parts such as the bolt, the latch, the cylinder and all the springs, brackets, and more springs.  So the reason you cant open your lock is because that video tape looking lock has come apart and all the mechanism inside has jammed into each other not allowing you to be able to unlock your lock. So go ahead and take a deep breath and calm down. Try these two quick ideas, one grab the knob and violently move the door back and forth, second bang the lock with either your fist(not the knuckles) and then try to use your key. If you have tried these ideas and they didn't work please call Abbaslocksmith.com @ 516 362 1459.  Now you should know and be prepared for the cost of this service.  Any locksmith who comes to your location to provide a solution to this problem should not charge you more than $100 to open the door and nothing more then $295 if they replace the whole mortise lock, granted that it is the biggest size mortise lock, if its the small size then you should not pay more than $200 for the lock.  Abbaslocksmith.com has provided similar services to neighborhoods such as Elmhurst, Corona, Flushing, Forest Hills, Rego Park, Bayside, Whitestone, College Point, Howard Beach, Woodhaven and Maspeth for Ten years and warantee their parts and labor.  www.abbaslocksmith.com/emergency locksmith/queens
